Do you love throwing and building with clay, teaching people the joys of creating beautiful things? The Art Beat is the place for you.
We are a friendly creative space with 8 wheels and are looking for someone who can teach a weekly class and some one-off classes for Potter’s Wheel.
We are looking for an outgoing, personable, people person who likes working with kids and adults, with an upbeat approach to helping people enjoy a day off or night out in our studio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Weekend availability is required
- Greeting all studio visitors and customers
- Assisting customers with choosing and completing items
- Operating the cash register system
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Additional duties as assigned
Potter’s Wheel EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. This is a permanent, part-time position. Pay based on experience.
We are looking for an outgoing, personable, people person with an upbeat approach to the Help kids have a wonderful experience at our studio. Experience working with kids is a plus.
Hours would vary.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing materials for class, workshop or event
- Assisting students with their projects
- Create a a positive and safe environment for all staff and students
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Additional duties as assigned
All training is provided. This is a part time position, but could lead to a permanent position for the right person.
